How a build goes here
Most of the work happens before a wrench comes out. Here is the whole of it, so you know what you are walking into.
The call
Tell us the vehicle and what you want different about it. We ask what it is on now, how it gets driven, and anything already done to it. That is usually enough to price the job on the first call.
Fitment against your vehicle
A manufacturer fitment list gets us close and does not settle it. Trim, drivetrain, wheel offset, and whatever is already bolted on all change the answer, so we check against the vehicle rather than the chart. If a size would need trimming, you hear it now.
The parts
We order the set we specified, including the supporting parts the main kit leaves out. Brake lines, bump stops, a track bar, sensors and brackets are specified alongside the job, not discovered halfway through it.
The install
Done here, in our shop, by the people who quoted it. Wiring is fused and routed where heat and moving suspension cannot reach it. Lighting is aimed before the vehicle comes off the lift.
After it leaves
Any real change in ride height gets an alignment. Wheels get a re-torque at 50 miles and suspension hardware at 500, because both settle once they have been driven. Bring it back and we do it.
Everything is fitted and installed in our own shop in Vernon Hills. We have been doing it here since 2011.
