Ernie's Custom Shop ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use this website or contact us, who else receives it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

What you give us

• The details you type into a form: your name, phone number, email address if you add one, and whatever you tell us about your vehicle and the work you want.
• Anything you say when you call, text, or email us, handled the same way as a form.

What is collected automatically

This site uses two third-party services on every page. Both set cookies and both receive data about your visit whether or not you contact us.

• Google Analytics 4. Records which pages you view, roughly where you are (city level, from your IP address), what device and browser you use, how you arrived, and when you tap a phone, text, email, or directions link. Those taps are recorded as an action and a place on the page — not the number you dialled or the address you wrote to. Google receives this data and processes it under its own terms.

We do not try to identify you from any of this, and we do not send your name, phone number, email address, or the text of your message to Google.

The phone number on this site is the shop’s own number and is the same for everyone. We do not use call tracking.

How we use it

• To answer your question and quote the work.
• To schedule and carry out work you ask for.
• To understand which pages bring people to the shop, so we spend effort on the ones that do.

Who receives it

We do not sell your personal information. It reaches the following, and no one else:

• Our lead handling service, which receives what you submit through a form and passes it to us.
• Google, as described above.
• Our hosting and email providers, to the extent needed to serve the site and to reply to you.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept as long as we may reasonably need them to serve you and to keep a record of work performed. Analytics data is retained on Google's schedule for the property. Ask us and we will tell you what we hold.

Your choices

• Ask us to show you, correct, or delete what you have shared. Email [email protected] and we will do it.
• Block or delete cookies in your browser. The site works without them; see our Cookie Policy.
• Install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on to stop Analytics collecting from your browser on any site.

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging work on a vehicle. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
